Will Droids Be Getting Buffed?

Yes, they need a buff, or at least a zeta, like every other faction in the game.

Droids are (were) the #1 F2P squad, now they are only good for p2 AAT Raids.

No they don't need a buff. They have been the only team that can consistently still fight their way up.

They need to relax and enjoy the rest of the characters in the game and maybe second half of the year get a buff or something. Right now not needed though.

There are one or two squads that I see on my shard in the top 50s, so they are still viable

Do they need a buff? I personally don't think so, they have JE who can outspeed majority of toons which can basically make all your droids go first.

Other teams such as a full clone team are only viable in the AAT raids as well but no one complains about them needing a buff...

What about nightsisters, ewoks and such? They are much worse than droids and have no viability anywhere except for their respective events, which only occur once every few months...

Farm a new squad like everyone else in the game and quit complaining that your droid team that has been the same for months can't keep up. If I kept the same team I was running one month ago I'd be way lower in the arena than I am now.

You should want to rotate squads. The diveristy in the game is what keeps it fresh.

The only thing droids could use a buff on is some protection. 88 is such weak sauce. AS for Power, they still bring it.

Droids will be buffed when people stop spamming the boards with these threads.

Probably, even if arena isn't going so great you still have a great team for raids

Well, maybe the issue isn't with the droids then, but with the fans of ewoks and nighsisters not being vocal enough. they should, in an ideal world every faction should be viable (and yes, they are worse off than droids).

Btw Clones aren't only viable in AAT, they do alright vs any team without a zeta barriss.

I've been vocal about droid teams being done with and that no buff is needed.

I've had a slight change of heart. I would be fine with giving droids a zeta/making them viable again, but only after some other factions get the same treatment. The ideal situation would be that all factions can have a strong squad available that is arena capable, including droids. But they have also had more than their day in the sun so I'd like to see other squads get that same opportunity and then add droids back into the mix. Once the day arrives where an ewok team, a nightsister team and a Sith team all have equal opportunity to hold arena rank (along with all others), is be happy to see droids added to that mix too.

There is only so much programming time available and I'd prefer to see droids close to the bottom of that list.
