Will Nihilus Make Offense Mods Necessary for Sith?

His lead means sith can't crit. So do we need offense mods on our sith to deal good damage now? I sort of see how this is good, but it's a strange concept.

Edit: I did notice that Nihilus gives 60% offense when his lead is maxed. So I guess that fixes a lot of the problem.

  • Well with nihilus they gain 60% offense so that was probably to offset them not being able to crit.

    That also means crit chance/damage mods are useless so your better off with speed/potency/health

    Health will be the biggest thing in thinking because nihilus also makes all protection into max health which means health mods will be much better
  • I'm sure offense mods will work best, obviously his lead is a direct counter to barris zeta, they can't gain health back if you aren't critting.

    No you protection primaries (because they increase more than health primaries do) and then a lot of offense and speed. Health won't be very necessary because they will already have absurdly high health from protection crossover. Speed, Offense, and Potency.

    And GK won't taunt if you don't crit. And Chirrut won't give HoTs if you don't crit, and Rex can't grant TM if you don't crit. And Zaul won't stealth everyone when you hit them because it was a crit (they'll still stealth on evade though)

  • I would assume protection primary mods will be amazing! Currently, a health primary mod gives 5.88% while a primary protection mod gives 23.5%. Since all protection is converted to health, protection primary mods become much more valuable. These sith will have massive health pools!

    % health damage effects will be very useful against them!
  • Nope - only speed mods matter.....which is just as it always has been. ;)
