So I tried what the OP suggested. I also didn't see something for Game Optimization, but the short cut for the game did disappear and I couldn't figure out how to reapply it.
I deleted the game, re-installed it, but still, the only shortcut was via the Game Launcher app, which is now how I access the game. Since doing all this ( roughly 12 battles ) I have not crashed when before, I would have most certainly have crashed at least once by now. So fingers crossed.
