Yoda lead zeta

So I recently put a zeta on Yoda's leader skill... which for Jedi allies grants additional tenacity, TM gain and a tenacity buff for a negative effect taken (at the end of the turn)

So far it's not spectacular... situationally good but not amazing.

I played around in some high end arena with Yoda led teams... and while it can shine at moments vs certain teams, it struggles to compete and keep up with the new super strong characters and well composed teams people are moving towards...

Jedi damage seems too low overall (even with pretty solid mods) and games you win are a drawn out affair at best and hopefully you can grind down the other team in time.

I still am looking forward to trying it out in the ATT raid... phase 1 particularly.

I'll let you know the results!

But as of this post... I would pass on picking it again if given another opportunity

  • Ouch. That sucks lol. Yeah Yoda's is one of the worst zetas IMO. Even in P1 HAAT QGJ Zeta lead is still really nice, although I think all in all Jedi are far too weak. Rebels/Sith/Empire is way to go, especially if ya have zetas

It was zeta #5 so I took the risk of testing it out...

The Jedi are far too weak as a whole to really punish the other team with the TM boosts... it's unfortunate.

I tried quite a few variations and it's just lackluster compared to many other options

Resistance is far stronger with Finn zeta and actually gives a tremendous advantage with all he TM boosts vs pretty much anything....

Yoda lead is only really useful vs heavy debuff teams... and even then your lack of damage makes things challenging.

Not to mention the struggles vs heavy taunt and/or buff teams... no reliable dispel.. you can use QGJ or even better Plo... he's is somewhat decent at least for that.

I'm rambling now... but you get the idea

  • Maybe when Jedi Luke is introduced...

And his unique doubles all the stats of every other Jedi in your team lol

Yeah, I wasn't expecting a whole lot out of Zeta Yoda lead in arena, but I still do want to see how it fares in HAAT.

It will be awesome for giving TM and then dispelling that triangle buff from Grevious right away so he doesn't get all those turns...

I hope it works at least ;)

I hope it does too, seems like it'll be fun. I find buff immunity works pretty well for keeping that stupid triangle buff away too though ;) Hopefully the B2 isn't too mean to you with tenacity up. Also, the B2 is going to get 100% TM if you spread tenacity up AND foresight before GG AOEs because the TM gain is triggered when GG is hit or evaded. So keep that in mind.

Yeah I've noticed that already with Yoda in a secondary role... the TM for B2 on that first group dodge due to foresight...

He's easy enough to shut down due to the TM gains from Yoda lead (from when I tried it pre-zeta)

Should be fine then, you seem like you know what you're doing haha
