I had that same doubt, but gave Vader a zeta and no regreat at all. Frankly i prefered Maul, but his battles rellies a lot at good rng. Like how many toons will palp stun right at the start.
Vader dots are endeless, give him high protection and he will be the last standing after two force crushes/blades.
Boba fighting alongside is a high damage weapon with execute, enemies full of dots for him it's a party! Even Sidious gets back to arena under Vader.
