It's interesting that when the Sith Faction Pass was announced, many were saying that Dooku got the most love and would end up being one of the stronger Sith when the dust settled.
I haven't seen him make a reappearance in Arena yet. Not like I'm actively looking, but I'm not seeing any videos popping up highlighting his changes either.
Honestly, I would just wait until we see how Darth Nihilus shakes things up. If his leader ability ends up being one of the go-to for Sith, I could see a zeta-less Dooku being very strong with Nihilus. In which case, you're using a zeta for 15% more counter damage and crit immunity. Not worth, IMO.
I think the problem is Dooku just doesn't have much of a home right now. You don't wanna make him leader, as Maul's leader ability is superior for Evasion. You don't want to put him under Maul, because that will mean less counter attacks if he's stealthed more. I guess you could put him under Vader, but he doesn't inflict DoTs and doesn't bring much else by way of synergy with what that squad is trying to accomplish. Plus, in my experience, zVader squads are pretty rigid in what they need to run to be successful...I don't see a place for Dooku in there (could be wrong though). Using him under a Palp lead wouldn't be bad...his Potency bonus isn't so impactful in Arena, but the health bonus and recovery might be an interesting combo with Dooku's zeta...that being said, though, on paper it seems like Nihilus's leader would provide more survivability in general.
All in all, I wouldn't do it. There are better Sith zetas to go with.
