Zeta on droid? When?

Except it already has an omega, zetas are going to previously lvl 7 abilities

It has to be 88 unique or Griveous unique / leader.

If they keep ability levels capped at level 8
Characters with 3 abilities get 0 zeta
Characters with 4 abilities get 1 zeta
Characters with 5 abilities get 2 zeta

So for the current droids:
Hk47 should get one on unique
88 should get one on unique
GG should get one on his unique and leader
K2SO has one on his unique.

Don't put one on Grievous, he's so hard to farm. Plus, his stats will make him an awkward pick no matter what you do to his abilities.

Put one on 88, 86, or HK.

I don't intend to come off as uncaring - but honestly, droids have been meta-proof almost since launch. If they do start to slide in arena viability, they still have had a longer time in the meta than virtually any other toon/faction. I started playing in November of 2015 and even then, Droids + GS/Poe/Poggle were a strong meta team. There was a short time when it was Dooku/Old Ben dodge - and some speed Rey teams - but all of those are long gone...and yet droids are still fairly viable. Especially with the JE/Nebit boost and B2 becoming f2p.

Oh, and I have G11 IG88/ G11 IG86, etc. - so I say this as someone who has occasionally run droids.

My grievous is 180 speed (+71) 46k health, hit for 14k (82%crit) aoe 7.8k...no he is'nt bad at all

K2 has a Zeta

88 should get a zeta unique like Boba.
