Guild Recruitment

Isn't there a 48 hour waiting period after switching guilds before you can take part in guild events? This was a thing they put in place specifically to address people guild hopping - or more specifically mercing but it amounts to the same thing. Just saying, what you're describing is not a thing.

My guild values loyalty also, and it's annoying to lose good people, for whatever reason they have for wanting to move on. That being said, generally I wish people good luck and move on with the business of finding a replacement. If they want to leave then they probably weren't a good fit and everyone is better off for the separation. Often, I have people leave and come back - because of that, from time to time we have a waiting list to get into the guild. In fact right now I have a former member that wants to come back cooling their heels in another guild because we're full. Being nice and being kind to people is a winning strategy for keeping your guild roster full.

Anyway, it seems like you're taking this really personally. Seems like an inefficient guild management strategy. Just some food for thought. 

Guild hopping?! the **bleep** is this ...  

While I was in nightmask little over a week: I was upset with farming kyrotech the past few days and wanted to quit the game but friend persuaded me to stay, also you don't have a link to discord to rejoin. I was multiple times during the day online and playing, checking can I attack anything in TB but everything was G12 or higher and working on my characters like GK who I took from G9 to G12 (for TB he was G9, useless) DarthRaxle had 2 days to talk with me and to see am I doing ok, but you never did. Adult don't handle things like you do, by just kicking people out without checking with them are they doing alright and most definitely not active people that put in so much time. I wasn't going to leave, I was just upset at the game progress pace. You should have talked with me, not assume things out of the blue and band up with your bit*h as* trolls to harass me here on the forum while making sh*t up. 

This was really wrong, I left Who's the B0osk (ROTE Guild I mentioned) cos I didn't agree with the farm order and do think it's normal to leave a guild that you don't agree with, there is no need for argument. DarthRaxle knew about this as I was very opened about it, also noted they where a very casual guild and don't have to win everything. 

You're so cool for harassing someone cos you can't handle the truth, you had no reason to kick me and I was very active, both is a fact. The 3rd fact you miss is that I wasn't thinking of leave at all. 

I quit the game cos of you, stop harassing me. Get a life.

If that's what they want to do, let them do it.  It's not efficient or in their best interests.  All events apart from raid are on a set cadence, so there's absolutely nothing to gain by 'guild hopping'.  If it is a thing, its a new player thing and hurting their own game. As lordzhedd stated, there's a period of waiting before  you can join events.   This isn't because of 'guild hoppers', but to prevent guild alliances from fixing TW and maxing raids. 

There are periods where players swap guilds for a while until they find one that fits there needs.  A couple of years ago I went through 4 or 5 in about 6 months, until I felt at home.

What the person this is about was doing, was clearly looking to upgrade guilds.  They can deny it, but they clearly were.  If you want to kick them for it, that's your business.  As you've said, you proven they're not loyal.  If you're such a great guild though, why would you care?  However, to kick them so they miss rewards, that's a douche move, totally wrong and your guild should never be recommend to anybody; it's just petty kids stuff.

All of you (on both side) bringing it to the forums to whine about each other is so juvenile and pointless.  It feels like I'm reading a bunch of 14 year olds arguing over something that really is a non-issue.  This is on the whole, a place of adults and none of us need to be reading this rubbish.  What is clear though, is that the guy that got kicked is very upset about it and may quit the game, maybe more of you are very upset too.  All of it has been totally unnecessary.  You all need to grow up, apologise to each other (you're all in the wrong) and move on.  If you as a guild can't do that, the bad publicity you've received here will mean you'll get zero recruiting from the forums.

Hopefully though, all 3 threads will be deleted and we can all move on.

TLDR:  Shame on all of you, pointless bickering that nobody gives a jot about.
