I've seen this asked a few times, but never the way I need it. =) It's usually people who are trying to decide whether to switch directions in the middle of farming FO (which I understand: FO are terribly difficult to farm. What a slog for the trooper and the TIE pilot!!).My case is this: I already have a full FO team, all G10, with zPhasma. But now that we've released KR-Unmasked and the new SF TIE Pilot (I'm leaving out the Executioner, who I'd LOVE, but of course he's one of those impossible 2-star toons for now), I'm not sure what the optimal squad is.Zetas are hard enough to get that I'm unlikely to shift from my zPhasma lead at the mo'. But I'm thinking that swapping FO Stormtrooper out for KR-Unmasked is a fair trade, yeah? He's tanky enough but has much stronger attacks than Stormtrooper.What about the SF TIE Fighter Pilot? I don't feel strongly enough about him to know whether I shoudl try to farm him in, and if so, who else I'd take out? Maybe FO Officer? Because I love my current FO TIE Pilot. The irreplaceable members of the team are FOST and FOO, IMO. I would farm both KRU and FOSFTFP because they are valuable crew members (especially if you run Chimaera). Personally, I think if you really want a good FO team KRU is worth the zeta. If you're going to run Phasma, I wouldn't swap anyone out though. FOO is great with FOTP (especially under Phasma's lead) so if you plan on running Phasma lead, keep it the way you have it. KRU is good if he is in the lead, and it's not worth losing FOO to run FOSFTFP under Phasma.

And how are you doing in your arena? I’m working on FO and it’s my arena team (player level 78). I was thinking about running Resistance instead, once I get 7* BB8 next time... I don’t really know which faction is stronger.

Correct. KRU is great, you're not wrong, but his kit is built around his leadership, not Phasma's. If you're keeping Phasma lead, don't add the new characters. I would still farm them if you can, though, their ships are amazing in Fleet Arena.

Resistance is far stronger. FO is good in arena up until probably about the top 200.

My shard is an old one - I started playing only a week or two after release. The entire top 50 is all 100% gold-ring teams of CLS and JTR. So I've been in the low 100s or high 90s with my own CLS team... but I got sick and tired of leveling and zetaing them and staying right where I was (because everyone else was doing the same). So I switched to NS and... they're still not strong enough to make it into the 90s.

In direct answer to your question, I'd never be silly enough to try FO ORRRRR Resistance on my shard. Those teams get killed in the 200s here. =( It bums me out because a) I love those teams and b) I hate the lack of diversity in the top 50. But for you, I'd agree with Lord_Terminus, above: a good Resistance team - especially if you have BB-8 - is going to get you further than First Order (at the moment). Them's my 0.02c.

Good post, was just thinking about the same thing myself. I think I will use Krum (leader), FOTP, FOSFTP, ZYLO and maybe FOO as last member. Not dure FOX is all that yet.
