Problem is that a lot of teams use Qui-Gon Jinn who can take away ST Han's taunt. That is why a lot of people use Royal Guard as well. I won't go into why here, but check out his abilities if you're not sure. Anyway, use ST Han and you turn those multi-attacks against them and use it to help you win. Its wickedly fun >:)
Agree with your take in general but OP mentions B2 as well and in that case ST Han is useless and the double taunt is also obsolete.
I like to use counters, sure they only counter the main attacker but 3 of them debuff the opposition and the 4th gains 50% damage when the toon has less than 50% TM, which is the case when they just attacked.
Another way I see is using stuns, though to eliminate assists entirely you would have to stun the assister himself or all of the others.
