Baze or...
So since Baze is only in the shard shop for a limited time, should I stop working on all my other characters and farm him while I can or should I just leave him alone?

Not really. Like it's just one character than can avoid your taunt, but lets be honest, Boba isn't going to be going before the rest of your wiggs team anyways. Sure he'll be speedy once he lands all those debuffs on your team, but he isn't going to call a three man attack to a different character. The only question I have is if he can ignore taunts and you run a phasma lead and it triggers a bonus attack, does the bonus attack hit the taunting character or the character boba targeted?
