Thanks for the post. I misremembered K2's kit. You are right he might be really awesome with R2.
I do have Jyn's lead zetad. Haven't really run it much outside of galactic war and territory wars and battles but I've been strongly considering trying it in arena once I get my other priorities geared up enough to be able to gear the Rogue one squad up the rest of the way... which basically means taking Cassian and Jyn from G11 to G12.
When CLS first came out I switched to a CLS lead with R2, Chirrut, K2, and Leia. K2 was practically impossible to get past... unless you had thrawn. Worked really well for me for some time. I actually built the squad around K2 CLS to give K2 extra counter and defense, Leia to give him a buff and extra crit chance to work with R2's auto cleanse, who also gave buffs and forced focus on K2, plus all the HoTs from Chirrut and the extra cleanse... He was always countering, always taunting, always debuff free and had 57% armor or something like that when I maxed it out.
Raid Han was pretty prevalent in that era, and he would hit my K2 for like 5k a pop instead of the 20k he hit everyone else for.
