Cantina farming suggestions please...

This isn't a bad idea... if I'm going to potentially waste a day this might at least provide future utility.

I'd say Dooku and then Lando or Lando then Dooku depending on what the upcoming patch brings. That's just at your level, Barris is a must have for GW imo when you can get her.

What are thinking Lando would add with the update?

I have Barris but just 4* and I agree she is so good for GW though I really need to upgrade her a bit... just haven't wanted to spend the credits or time.

anyone you can get in arena/gw shipments do so and no where else. why waste energy farming ig-86 in cantina when you can farm harder characters like barriss & dooku? if you complete gw each day thats 10 shards (i think, i haven't redeemed in a while) for ig-86 or anyone else.

for cantina, i did kylo, gs, dooku and now am on barriss. jc i preferred to do hard nodes since he has 3 of them and his drop rate isn't bad. but as soon as i had him at 80/100 i did farm his cantina node to finish him off for yoda event.

also you might want to consider talia if you need a dark side healer and don't have daka

This is the order I have went and going in Cantina and the reasons for why. This will probably change after the update but just my personal thoughts.
1. JC- At the start of the game healers are important and he is easy farmed to 7*
2. GS- Great in Arena and GW due to his high damage and frequent special
3. Old Ben- Personal favorite and quite useful tank and when leader ability fixed may see as leader as much as Dooku (The update seems like it MAY benefit him as well)
4. Dooku- Strong character with counter and right now meta leader with dodge. (Probably should have been #3 because more easy to farm)
I am only a few shards away from maxing Dooku at 7*
5. Gun-Di- He seems like he is going to be the best Jedi leader to me with counter. I use him with my GW B-Team after a suicide squad to beat teams My regular team has problems getting through without being weak. His special deals great damage and he has great health.
6. Royal Guard- Best tank in the game and also great with helping get through the Tank Challenge at high levels due to his stun.
7. Talia- She could be higher or lower depending how you have been progressing through Hard nodes. Right now I have a few nodes that are not 3 star that is why I have her here. If/When they are 3 Star she will drop really low
8. Kylo- He can deal some damage and is one of those guys in Arena and GW that causes problems.
9. Barris- She could be in the top 5 of this list because it seems she would make the Yoda Challenge less frustrating but I already had other Jedi's 7* so she dropped on my list. She also is great for GW.
10. Chirpa- Ewok team seems to be quite strong and fun to use and by the time I get here will probably have set teams for everything.
11. Lando- Probably the best AOE in the game. Could be higher on the list if you think that Regular Han will be in a Scoundrel Challenge like Yoda was for his.
12. Night Sister Acolyte- By the time I get to this point will have Daka, Talia, Initiate, and Asoka all at 7* this would round out a night sister synergy team.
13. Anakin- Seems to be a good character but he doesn't do anything for my teams. (The update could make him much better so he may be moving up my list fast)
14. Plo- For Clone synergy
15. Chewy- When I hit level 45 he stopped being effective but you have to finish him sometime. (See Lando for Han Challenge reason).
16. Luke- For Rebel Synergy. Hopefuly Leia gets moved to a farmable place and that would mean Luke would jump up the list for me. Akbar, Leia, Luke, Biggs, and Hoth Scount/Soldier looks like a strong team to me.
17. Finn- I do not have Poe and avoided him because I thought he would be nerfed (and was) So, I dont have many Resistance characters. Rey looks like she will always be a top 10 character but Finn just doesn't excite me (I know that is a bad reason to have him low on a list)
18. Mace- Already have so many Jedi and like other Jedi better than him. If his Unique ability gave a % chance for each enemy to expose till end of turn he would be in the top 6-7 of this list.
19. Snow troop- Empire synergy. An empire team will need Vader on it and because his shards are so hard to get other empire players are low on the list. (Except for Royal guard)
20. Magna Guard- A deceivingly bad character. You look at him and think I can really use this droid to build a strong team but in reality he stinks. (I was farming him at one point and have him at 6* and its my biggest regret in the game).
21. Jawa- Unless there are 5 Jawa to build a team with no use in farming him. And Dactha should already be 7* by this point to counter if droid meta comes back.
22. Tuskin raider- Same reason as Jawa
