Darth Nihilus lead

I'm going to do Emperor Palpatine, Dooku, and Sith Trooper. For the fifth toon I was thinking either Kylo, Savage, stormtrooper Han or Boba. Thanks in advance for any advice

RG's taunt alone isn't enough to protect EP. Any time that EP can be targeted, there is a possibility that he may be killed in one hit by some imbalanced super attack like the Wiggs team-up. Too many times you'll just end up with an RG who taunted after EP already died.

You can't risk leaving EP vulnerable to direct hits because it'll just attract people whose squads are fast enough to kill him on the first turn, knowing it'll be a 4 vs 5 battle right from the start. That's why EP needs a tank who will taunt before EP gets attacked -- meaning either the taunt goes up before the battle begins (Shoretrooper, Baze) or extremely early (ideally a Sith Trooper teamed with a fast modded Sith Assassin or Dooku).

Either a preemptive taunt, or EP needs to hide behind a group stealth ability like Maul's zeta leadership or R2-D2's special ability.

I didn't realize Sith Troopers taunt acted the same as RG's. Definitely using him
Right. Like RG, Sith Trooper will taunt when a Sith ally dips below 50% HP.

But more crucially, Sith Trooper will taunt as soon as a Sith ally uses a special ability. So they can force him to taunt from the start if they're fast enough and, if things go the right way, renew his taunt until either he dies or his team wins.

Add in retribution, and the ability to get protection up even on a Nihilus team, and you get one of the best kept secret weapons for a Sith Team, especially under Zeta Nihilus. 150% health steal and retribution makes it nearly impossible to kill him with out daze or heal immunity.
  • Okay not sure why you would place STH or Boba in this team but Savage and Kylo both fit in well.
  • I'd agree with the Sith Assassin suggestion if you have her.

I run clones and specifically target the DN leads as they're easier to kill than rebels for me. The battle typically ends 5 v Dooku and unless I'm really unlucky, I should win.

The only teams I don't target are the Sith Assassin/Trooper combos, they are a colossal pain in the butt for me as I typically lose a clone early to that mix (which can be a nightmare depending on which one it is).
  • SA is amazing (once you get her to 6* or 7*
Sith trooper is great...but if you are anywhere near getting (or have plans to get) Genreal Kenobi then I would just hold out for him. once you get GK, sith trooper will probably go to the bench.

  • Best combo is zDN,zSavage,zDooku,ST, SA...trust me I allways end up first with this team, and i've tried all possible combinations...dont use others.

Why zeta Savage (and Dooku) under a DN lead? I get that they may not always be used under him but still? I run sith on one account and have a hard time to get in top 20 (although I got #4 and #13 - #15 several times recently) I run either ZMaul, Palp, Vader, Dn, SA or ZDN(only on the lead for now), SA, ST, Dooku, Palp....and I've noticed that I get pushed back more overnight with a DN lead than with ZMaul...
