You are better off a more stable character like Dooku or postnerf one like Barriss at the 6th levels of Nodes.
That's my conflict. I have Dooku 6*, but he's still not amazing in any way. I have Barriss at 4* and she's enough to to get me through GW every day with ease. My arena squad is Sid, Poggle, Lumi, Rey, Poe, which is strong enough to rank #1 but I still can't beat a few teams. I would like to migrate to QGJ, Lumi, GS, Rey, Poe. But not if GS will be worthless in a few weeks.
Go for 7* Dooku and abandon your GS project. Dooku is great if you max him. He's amazing with the right team. He won't make or break a team though l.
