Why, you ask? I have no clue. I think everybody should have access to the same level of gear, but the devs dont think so, and here we are.
To the OP:
Poe was nerfed with the loss of 1 speed, about 500 hp, and a bit of tenacity. He didnt lose his spot as supreme king of the universe because of the nerf, but because they fixed the speed bug, and he lost the ability to warp time at the fastest speed known by man, which is a skill he never was meant to have because it was a bug in the speed system.
If they nerf GS with 500-1000 hp, 1-5 speed, and 5-10% tenacity, he is still going to be usable. I doubt they'll nerf his basic stats into the ground, and unlike Poe, there is not a mechanic issue with his skills.
