- VaderizerSeasoned NewcomerActual serious question: what about Plo Koon? I know he was popular for a minute there just for his dispel on basic, but that would still be useful, and he has that +50% turn meter move. Certainly not the greatest candidate out there, but the good ones are mostly needed elsewhere, and he has a good ship at least.
- Juhani
- Juhani isn’t very good on old republic. So use her. Or hermit yoda , or Ezra. And just use the revan for offence. Or depending on what level you are at , use for defence against non revan holding opponents

Plo Koon sucks.
Ezra, hyoda are better
Sub sabine for phoenix if desperate- I use jihani. She adds 5 more speed to tgeteam more than other jedi and she's a pretty good tank.
You already have a tank in old Republic teams in zalbar so you can throw in a non tank 5th. T3 works ok. Or any character that puts dots up. Vader, sideous, or wampa would be good. Or you can use a scoundrel tank. L3 or even st han if you want a second generic tank. Just depends on what you have in your roster. - Use old Ben, he is great. I use him everytime I gac for offense squads, Best fit. First move is tm switch Jkr to ob, thanks spezial ob and your jedi get nearly full tm... Beat nearly any other Jkr squads on offense
- The correct answer depends on what you have in your roster and what you're facing if on offense. If you have a fast geared up hoda that isn't being used elsewhere, then that's a good option.
I personally use my hoda as a 5th in many different teams if I'm facing ns to help keep the plague at bay. Which team depends on how strong the ns are but it is rarely revan since that's overkill.
On offense, the most efficient option is to leave the spot empty if you can manage it. Once again situational and depends greatly.on what team you're facing.
That's why you flat answer of hoda is best isn't always right. - It really depends on what your goal is with your two teams you’re creating.... are these going to be your top two teams that you count on? Or do you have GG, DR, Malak, 501st etc waiting in the wings as well?
As most have stated, your best overall bet is to sub in HY and use them on offense. This team can easily beat other JKR and Traya teams on offense, so if you’re able to save your GK for a Padmé team in this scenario, you’re in good shape.
However, any Jedi or OR toon you put in there is still going to beat 95% of teams out there. You could potentially even remove GMY or Bastilla along with GK and create just a “decent” JKR team, which will still take a very powerful meta/top tier team to beat. And sometimes, having a unique squad lends your opponent to underestimating. Most of my GA opponents I face out-gun me, but I win more matches than I should because I choose unique teams which are hard to “ace” on defense, while saving most of my firepower on offense (which also allows for greater control on unique teams, such as HY on JKR. I don’t currently have a good Padmé squad, but I do break up the generic JKR team. I sub in JKA for Bastilla, and use Bastilla for another strong offense team with zHY, zATF, zEzra, zKanan.)
