Houndstooth Theory Crafting

Just a warning before you gear hounds tooth, don’t believe the hype about it being viable at <7*. I regularly 2-shot the occasional 4* HT (w/ g11 Bossk) with Vader/tfp under chimaera. Even the 6* that occasionally pops up isn’t really a match as the 100k crits will pierce through his prot up pretty easily. He’ll die well before chimaera’s ultimate. Dual tanks do way too little damage to kill off Biggs, so unless you’re bringing in someone to debuff you’ll drop like a rock on defense. That said, HT is made to counter geos, so if you see a lot of those in your shard, maybe he’s worth while at lower stars. For reference, my shard has around 380k average fleet, 80% Biggs tfp Vader meta (under either thrawn or tarkin) with some minor variations and a few others (like the geos that get slapped down super fast).
