You're also going to want Grandmaster Yoda. If you're going the Assault Battle with jedi instead of ewoks, you're going to need Yoda's specials. His AoE will copy all non-unique buffs, but the Protection Up that shield droids give aren't unique. So he gets that buff, then on his next turn you use the event ability to give him 100% TM and a whole bunch of other buffs, then use Battlefield Meditation (or whatever it's called) to spread all his buffs to other jedi.
The protection up buff persists between phases, too, so you can start the next phase with some purple juice. But since the stages that really take advantage of protection up tend to have B2s after them, that buff won't last very long.
