K2SO event - countering

Hey all - I usually run Dooku and Aayla for countering. I've noticed that in the new K2SO event, they aren't countering at all. Dooku is supposed to be 100% and Aayla counters quite often. I think it has something to do with the enemies DoT but when I hold it down, it only says the typical continuous damage over time. No daze effects or stuns or anything on my team, simply not countering at all.

Any info on this?
