Light Side 9B Hard Help

Hi all, trying to past this node to farm Shore Trooper, can you give me advice on my toons please, have seen people clear this on youtube with less geard toons, please point me in the right direction ...

I used an Old Ben lead, Anakin, Yoda, IGD, Ahsoka ( all g10) and borrowed a zeta qgj to 3 star the mission.

Rewards and reworks?
Ever 7 star a character just for it to get reworked and loose 3 to 4 stars on it and only get 1500 purple shards it's not a fair trade at all I rush to get the new characters only to have them stole...

Where am I able to defeat Pirates as part of the journey quest? When I click on it, it takes me to a battle against separatist droids. Any help is appreciated.
