Luke's It Binds All Things and Chewie's Loyal Friend are the only absolute necessities, really. You probably also want Luke's lead if you plan to use them to counter stuff like Jedi Revan, the extra TM boosts will be important.

Ibat, then chewie, then all of r2, then cls lead..

R2 is good because his number crunch can be used for GR/Resistance teams as well.

R2 was one of my first, his zetas are useful. I would say that C3PO’s were the least helpful for me
