Anyone else agree that +50% defense is useless? There are no viable rebel tanks that utilize that stat... Wouldnt it be useful to change it to 20% tenacity or some other beneficial thing? Give rebels a fighting chance against the metas.

Old Ben is a solid 5th for those using R2 on JTR and/or 3PO with GR. Ben has the 2nd highest armor and 5th highest base resistance in the game (Scarif Pathfinder is also good defense wise). Which also synergizes with Guard as they gain a crit immunity, combined with the defense makes someone with healing like Luke, or with Chewie's second zeta that heals the main trio, allowing them to survive that extra hit or two they might need to win a match.

How does that help when chewie gets marked? Fast cls with guard is what makes rebels have viable dps... also how can you praise old ben when on the other side you have general kenobi with bindo and a free ressurrect just in case the mass one wouldnt be enough...

You can't smoke before mark because of savior. I suspect you are besting poorly modded JKR teams.

Before that though 4 other standard JKR teams.

They can't all be poorly modded. I do not lose to ANY of them offensively.

Perhaps the way I am modding and reliced is making up for it?

How fast is your CLS?

EDIT: Relics might be the answer I suppose. I haven't used CLS in arena since the JKR meta.

Speed speed, more speed, and then relics for extra flavor. And flat offense on Han/Chewie. Go to town!

To OP:
CLS with a zeta on Learn Control is essentially a rebel tank (and probably the best one). When you combine that with guard from chewie, he is very hard to kill. Smokescreen from R2 can also effectively give him taunt, and prevent mark on chewie, so the defense boost is still useful.
