Todays kamino event 8 turns in a row not working for me

Ok, i see it now. Grevious is double stunned by slkr. The first stun ticks off as baby kylo stuns L3. My point remains, "a turn" should be defined as performing an action - not, the turn timer ticks off. Broken - imho.

Watch the turn meter on L3 in your video. It approaches max and then drops near zero. That's her "turn", I'm afraid.

Getting out of being stunned is a turn

If you ever see language like “Whenever an ally takes a turn” versus “Whenever an ally uses an ability”, you’ll see the game does make this distinction.

But why should it? Isn’t it punishment enough that the character can’t use any abilities during their turn? Stun is such an available mechanic, that blocking out any effects that automatically happen at the start or end of turn is just too much.

the do perform an action its called they clear 1 stack of stun off of themselves.
