What team am I to use GAS in in TW or GAC?

Question

Rex leader clones are better “TM on crit” in TW or GAC
I don't actually see a team he functions in.
GAS clones will get destroyed by just about any team out there at least Rex clones stop your
basic CLS teams etc.
GAS is utterly useless in arena a tank that can’t tank because he’s five star and even then I bet CLS could destroy them still.

I would recommend Droids as they're immune to gas. And he's an Attacker, no Tank.
Jokes aside just use him for any team including one 501st toon that needs a pretaunt and no other leader, he's not able to compete with G13 at all.

That won’t work there is already a best in slot clone team and he’s not it it ....so again what team does he function in for TW or GAC?
