I also feel like jedi are a real end game niche. Save for gmyoda you don't need jedi for events plus QGJ lead only gets good with a zeta. In contrast there are other factions that have decent leads at lower levels that just get better and are useful for events.
Why play such a long game before it pays off when you can work on toons that are useful now and at end game?
