Why is Qui-Gon Zinn not meta?

Once they introduce RotJ Luke, that will make the Jedi viable again. I'm sure they would give RotJ Luke a great leadership ability. Even better than Qui Gon's.

This feels like a thread from before I started playing the game last April.

Most jedi do horrible damage. So even double damage is almost like 2*0... I have heard one team with a 7* hermit yoda with QGJ could do ok with ezra, but they still used a cls, so not a full jedi team.

This is it right here. If poor zQGJ had a batch of kickarse Jedis to work with, he could still be a meta-contender. But as counterintuitive as it seems to us fans, Jedis are third-string Bantha fodder in SW: GOH. Droids outperform them. Jawas outperform them. Ewoks outperform them. Their incredible training, reflexes, and wicked laser-swords earn them all of 2000 damage and an Ewok axe in the face. It's pretty silly, but I have no doubt that in the months to come we'll eventually see a Jedi rebuild.

Tagging CLS and Rey as Jedis also seems perfectly reasonable. I can only guess they didn't so they could make them Rebels and Resistance instead, to build more factions.

I agree. CLS and Rey JT it is silly not to have the Jedi tag. Much like asaaj should have more tags. And a few other characters should too. It is also silly that r2 has the rebels tag. It was 20+ years after the rebellion ended. If he was still a rebel he would have been First Order... And if they're doing "once a always a " then ATF should be Jedi. And Vader...

I wish CLS and Rey were considered Jedi... Then my emperor would squish them even faster.

Lol. When he first got his zeta we all saw it an pooped our pants. Turns out it doesn't amount to much. A toon like B-2 can put them to sleep.

It needs alot of investment to be viable. You need to also have zeta yoda and a zeta kanan, and a GK thats good with a 5th being probably s zeta barris. Thats 4 zetas to make a Zeta QGJ viable.

Not counting the fact that alot of toons are "Jedi killers" like Dooku and Sid.

Bottom line is that it isnt a good use of resources.

I am personally hoping for a Jedi rework myself. It may be cliche, but Jedi have always been the biggest draw for me with regards to the Star Wars universe. And it stinks to no end that they are so useless.

Being a newer player, before I knew better, I invested heavily in Jedi. So now I have some 6* and 7* Jedi that can barely keep up with better 4* toons in Arena and GW.

At least I needed to build up my Rebels to grab Palp, so I've got them and Empire teams to build up now. Maybe by the time I've 7* all of them, the Jedi will finally be viable again. One can only hope.

I don't regret it at all. It was the only zeta I used for the longest time while I farmed ships and gear in fleet. Stayed top 5 through the zaul meta (barely, thanks to good mods), then when r2 came out I was on top of the shard roughly until I switched to cls.
