Why is Qui-Gon Zinn not meta?

At least the zeta was good for something, sparking this conversation a jedi rework... I am fan of sith myself, dont like hippie way thinking, but maybe if thry get some power they can be more than that, at in goh....

Because Jedi are in desperate need of a rework, basically. Many are literally years behind the power curve now - including Qui-Gon himself, whose zeta is his main redeeming feature at this point. The only ones that see any use today are General Kenobi, Old Ben, Ezra, Hermit Yoda, and zeta Barriss, and they don't make a coherent team together or with Qui-Gon, since it's two tanks, two healers, and only one real damage-dealer.

You'll see the odd Jedi, especially the Kenobis since they're two of the best tanks in the game, on non-Jedi teams. But you won't see Jedi teams standing up to the current meta until they get a rework and/or new characters.

Jedi need a rework thats why...

The good jedi are GK, Zarris, Old Beb, Ezra, and HermitY but without a good lead are bad. QuiGon has a good lead BUT he isn't meta at all, his lead is the only meta capable thing about him and it mainly provides survivability, which the Jedi have with the good ones.

Main thing is, is that they lack damage, Ezra is the only one capable, second best is Anakin and he relies on people almost dying...

If they brought in a good lead as good as Qui Gon who also has a good kit with decent damage then jedi probably could be meta, but for now they remain as back up teams for TW.

Things I'd like to see to make Jedi decent...

Jedi Luke Skywalker that gets some crazy synergy with Hermit Yoda. They should be tag team partners...kinda like Chaze or JTR/BB8.

For QGJ to be relevant, for starters, his leadership skill needs a boost, it just can't hang with many of the newer, more powerful ones. He also suffers from bad stats right now. For what his kit actually does, I don't see why he's so squishy. There are plenty of other characters that hit harder, have more utility, and are more survivable. Look at Raid Han for example...he gets his pre-stun, stuns throughout the fight, passes out a ton of buffs, counter attacks, does stupid amounts of damage...and oh yeah...he's got more health and protection than QGJ lol. Or how about R2? he's pretty much a better "leader" than QGJ without even taking up the leader spot, has a super versatile skill set...and oh yeah...way more survivable than QGJ. It just doesn't make any sense.

JKA? Dude needs some adjustments to his skill set to take protection into account on his unique...just looking at health doesn't do a whole lot for his unique these days, and he could use some zetas to boost his overall damage output...he's pretty far behind the curve these days. Also wouldn't mind an Ahsoka rework and some synergy to go with him, more so than what they have now.

Those are the big things I'd like to see...but aside from what I mentioned most of the faction is in rough shape right now...some have outdated kits, some have kits that were just never good, and pretty much across the faction their damage output is a joke.

Should be "If ally loses all protection, falls below 50% health or dies" that slight rework alone could help Jedi quite well tbh

That would be fun. You can throw people on Luke's back and gain their tags. Throw Finn on there and get the resistance tag. Throw Cad Bane on his back too, that's probably the only way bounty hunters will be good, on the back of better characters.

I never said he wasn't a rebel at one time... If he is resistance then he is no longer a rebel. Nor is he still Galactic Republic. The rebellion ended 20+ years previous. It is not ongoing. It ENDED. As did the Republic BEFORE the Empire. At the END of Episode III. Therefore he shouldn't be still tagged as such. Unless they are doing the "once a faction, always a faction" which is a huge can of worms. It makes much more sense for Ahsoka TF to be tagged Jedi as she was one.

Not to mention he was on low power mode the while the resistance was formed and fighting the FO... Wouldn't really consider him resistance either... All he did was provide coordinates at the very end... You have watched the movies right?

As far as I remember the movies, they THOUGHT Anakin was the chosen one. But in the end, he trashed the whole balance, and then Luke "set it right", thus being the chosen one all along.

As I remembet it, Anakin is the chosen one all along. However, for some time Kenobi doubts and thinks he was wrong to believe Anakin to be the chosen one. Without Anakin (and his love for Padme and fear for loosing her) there would be no Luke/Leia. Anakin is the source.
