Zeta Maul or Vader first?

It comes down to what's more important to you:
Arena or raids? Which really comes down to crystals vs gear/shards

Arena- Zaul no question
Raid- Zader

You can still use Zader in arena but will be at a disadvantage vs Zaul teams. Zaul doesn't really do much in raids.

If I go zaul, who would you replace shore with?

I would replace anakin with DN. Direct all the fire at shore so your hitters can tear apart the opponent. Later, you could sub Shore in for Zylo. All the attacks make him faster, donmore damage and reset his cooldowns.

I run Zaul(l), DN, EP, zylo and I alternate Baze/Vader

What's your dn at? I still only have him at 3 stars so I'm not sure if that's viable or not.

Since I don't have baze, I'll continue with Vader. But I'll continue running shore for now so he can absorb the damage at the beginning.

If it's for an arena team don't worry about star levels for DN. With the correct mods and gear he's perfectly viable.

What mods would you run then? I currently have crit damage and two defense mods at 3 dots because of high speed stats on them.

He's viable at 3*. Gear and mods are more important than stars. I used Vader before I had Baze built up.

I don't have the ability to unlock baze still (probably won't until he becomes available in cantina or ship shipments). Would you recommend or say savage is also a good alternative or not? I haven't really started to unlock him yet, but was going to focus on either him or sidious next from arena shipments. So my ideal team is going to be: zaul (l), zylo (eventually), nihilus, ep, vader/savage. Anyone other than baze you'd replace the last two with?

I've heard zeta Savage is legit with Zaul lead. I think Vader works just fine in your lineup. The only reason I even use Baze is because of a double zeta R1 team that starts out with a bunch of tenacity and taunts. I can beat them with Vader but it's much quicker with Baze.

I've a Zeta Savage. He's decent in with a zMaul lead. I also use Sith Trooper. Keeps me top 35-40 most days in a fairly competitive shard.
