Cant connect to EA account with my SWGOH account

Whenever I try to connect my SWGOH account to my EA account in game I enter my email and the code that is sent to my email but straight after I enter my code and submit it I just get this notificatio...

I am also getting the exact same issue, every time I try to link my SWGOH to my EA account it fails with identical error message, I contacted support in the past and they said it was a bug and would be fixed but it still doesn't work. I don't think I have the 2 EA accounts issue like @frogey6 but I get the same error message, please could you help as I would like to use the webstore, thanks.
