Cantina battle 8-G doesn't give Zeta rewards

It really depends on what you are going for.  I still need zeta mats so 8G works for me.  I’m positive 9F and 9D are better value for two forms of signal data and omicron.  I’m not hurting for Omicrons as much as zeta mats.  I’ll leave it to the wiz kids to post the side by side comparison charts and graphs.

I have only received 1 zeta from it out of all the energy I have used on it. But it does give them out eventually. 

The Zetas and Omis in Cantina have a stupid low drop rate. I run all my energy on 9-f and maybe have had 1 Omi drop and before that when we just had 8 tiers I think over many years I had maybe 5 omis drop

It’s a very low drop rate.  Since the update I’ve received 10 Omega and 3 Zeta farming flawed signal data from this node.  Pretty happy with that drop rate for me.  It seems significantly improved from what it was.
