Chat Icon Disappeared

Summarize your bug Could not use in-game chat because the icon disappeared.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Unknown, first time this has happened.

Had the game backgrounded for a little while. Opened it back up and the chat icon disappeared. Changed screens several times (cantina/guild screen/TB screen), but the chat icon was missing in all locations. Pressing where the icon should have been did nothing. Force closed the game and restarted it and the icon was back.

    I think it has something to do with the connected EA account. I think the connection is lost or wonky. I entered my EA account in a web browser and reentered my day of birth. Saved it. Then after a few hrs I opened swgoh again and the chat function was back again.

    could be coincidence but some how I don’t think so

    I AM HAVING THE SAME ISSUE WITH MY ACOUNT AND IT WAS THERE YESTERDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 

    FIX IT!!

    Yeah, like I said in the report force closing and restarting got it back.

    Just reported it anyway so it's known that the bug is occurring.

    Can you force close the game and restart it? Chat should become available once the game is running again.
