So, in this case, you HAD to improve your toons to be more powerful, so more or less intentional, you've to pay extra to boost them to win . . . . . . . !
They can say "Use your gems" in F2P but I don't really think that 99.999999 % of F2P players got +10k gems to buy shard cards ...........
The most ridiculous thing is that you earn points when they hit you.
When you see how long it take for the 1st era (LukeTrooper & Cie) to reach R6 versus the "Andor giveaway", you're on on the top of a cliff!
Gosh, Coliseum is a black hole for disillusions ...

If you read about the abilities, the three stacks they have reduce damage by like 25% each. Then there's a damage reduction based on how many points you've gained. The issue you're having is that when you don't have enough characters to remove their stacks of reduction, your damage is reduced to 1. It may not be good design, but it's more or less intentional.

Another thing I just notice : sometimes, Zeffoes attacks gave me one point (?!?!?)
I was unable to take a screenshot as the next Zeffo attacked just after.

There's a serious problem with Zeffoes.
As soon as a character (or several characters) kills the first Zeffo, the status bar "flickers" as in a "reset mode" and the character(s) can only inflict one point of damage at a time, while other non-killer characters can inflict damage until there's a single toon which inflict one point too.
IMO, the flickering consider the game off (I kill the opponent, the 1st one) but the next phase considers the 1st Zeffo killers as out of team so no more participation !!!
Please fix this game whatever or not compensation but it's non-sense !!!!!!!
Other think : "Level Up" remaining fight saving ...
Starting the 1st conquest fight of the day after R5 gear up : The Zeffoes are killed ... and you go to the next level, wasting the 4 remaining fight of the previous level . . .
Can't we use the remaining fights before going to the next level such as some daily conquests ..?

Stuck at 90%. All three Zeffo are being attacked evenly. They all have less than 1/4 of a bar left of health. One Zeffo guardian remains after whistling bird attack takes down the other two, when all three should die together. Remaining Zeffo will not lose armor and no one does more than -1 damage. Zeffo eventually just kills the remaining allies.

Same issue with the Mandalorian era . . .
When it's remained one toon (Mando, or Bane, ...) , 1 point each attack (not dodged of course) ... Whereas at least 2 toons can put several GPs .........!
