Donation bug in the In Game chat

Product: Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes
Platform:Apple iPad
What type of device are you experiencing the issue with? iPad Air 2

What type of issue do you have? Gameplay
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Summarize your bug In the new chat: if you try to donate, and the donation fails because the donation has expired, the option to either Cancel or Confirm Donation comes up. And then you get stuck: if you hit Cancel nothing happens, and if you hit Continue, it just tells you the donation failed. You are stuck at this point, and you have to hard restart the game.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Donate in the in game chat. If you choose a donation that’s expired, hit Cancel. The game should do nothing at this point. Hit Confirm, you’ll get the donation failed message again.

    Me too.

     

    I clicked chat, and the game froze. I noticed (see the screencap) the chat showed a blank donation request. This is the first day after game update. Occurred at 2am Eastern on May 22, 2018. 

    Ipad Air 2. OS 11.3.1, Sixth Sense, ally code 958-311-173.   I had to force quit the game to unfreeze the ipad.

    Same happened here. I want to add that it don't have to be an already expired donation. (Original Poster: Sorry, if you stated the same, it was just not unambiguous.) There was a 8/10 gear request in the chat, and I donated the last 2 pieces. The donation option did not disappear, but the "How many pieces do you want to donate" pop-up appeared again right away. Then I had the same problem as the original reporter.

    Platform: Android 8.0 (edit: on Huawei P10), and BlueStacks

    Update: It also happened when I donated a gear piece on a 0/5 request, so I now assume that this is a general bug in donations that not happens every time. I could donate other gear pieces to other guildmates with no problem.

    I had a similar issue to this, but it involved attempting to donate the last item, not an expiration.  Member was at 4/5 and I went to donate and it locked up on the confirm screen.  Could not cancel or confirm to exit out.  Just spinning blue wheel of death.  Had to close app and restart it.  When I checked guild exchange, the member was no longer listed.  I confirmed with the member that they had gotten 5 items, but did not get one from me so it appears that it got in just before another guild member confirmed their donation at which point I was stuck in a loop.
