I see a clear problem with this.  If players are purchasing packs with money and the units are changed and no longer serve the purpose, how should the players be compensated?  If they spend money and the unit is no longer fit for purpose (especially if recently bought) shouldn't those players be entitled to some sort of monetary refund on their purchase?  Rather than shiny coloured things in their inbox?  It's a dangerous path CG is taking for very little reason.

It does make sense. Some people may have invested in Ezra solely so he could be on a Rey team. Others may have invested in Merrin solely to be a Jabba counter. If those units will no longer serve that purpose, those players should be refunded. 

i get the refund. but why the relic 7 become relic 1.  it does not make sense why they down grade to r1 and refund you
