Game does not launch

Summarize your bug Following the update (June 9), the application is stuck on the loading screen, either the one showing "Disney - Lucasfilm" or the one after with the Galaxy of Heroes' screen "checking for updates". The screen might also go black.

Following the update (June 9), the application is stuck on the loading screen, either the one showing "Disney - Lucasfilm" or the one after with the Galaxy of Heroes' screen "checking for updates". It can not launch the game. The screen might also go black.

Hi guys,

Several players who have ran into this issue reported chat clearing the game cache (Android / iOS) resolved the issue for them.

Others have reported that a fresh reinstall also helped (if you reinstall, please make sure that your game is linked to Google Play or Game Center).

@EA_UltraSlide None of this has worked for me and from what I have found and read this is a problem for many are there any other fixes?

@Darthcake_1 Clearing cache only didn't work for me but clearing cache and data did. Thanks for the tip!

@darussian12 Try to clear the data as well. It didn't work for me by clearing only the cache but by clearing both it did.

Hi,
For the ones who are still in trouble
I cleared the game cache. First it seemed to do nothing. I also had to wait on the loading screen of the game for like 15 min (without it going in sleep mode) before the game finally launched.

For anyone with splash screen issues still, clearing data did it for me. More importantly I did not lose guest account either for some reason
