I got this on PC with Cere team in GAC. Got it again today in a Veers vs Omi phasma TW match on Android client. It's in the architecture of the game. It's nothing to due with the Android OS app vs Windows or something. They just don't fix things when they are broken. The dev team continues to crank out carrot dangling content at breakneck speed and ignore architectural bugs for a year or more.
At this point I'm pretty sure that they don't even have a testing team. I think that we may have been duped into being a mix of free testers and actually paying CG for the privilege of testing and documenting the bugs.
For what it's worth to the folks running swgoh. This would be unacceptable for the large scale software application I work on. Contracts with 3rd party folks would be reevaluated.
When we do a large project to add new functionality, we due a review of every ticket that hasn't been worked to find out:
1.) What can or should wait until after. (Sometimes that is the best course if action. A data fix scenario could be a good example)
2.) What stuff is going to have to be fixed BEFORE development can start on the new project
3.) What stuff will be fixed as a side effect of the project or as an additional requirement of the projects implementation.
Point is, I think swgoh is a good game. The problem is it is not good software. Sorry if that seems harsh but it's fair. For the love of the Force, get your software together. Fix your game.
