Game hung during GAC battle

Few minutes ago, my game hung, toons stopped attacking, timer was still ticking, toons weree just standing wobbling. Time run out and nothing happened. Had to close the game and OFC I lost that one. This way I lost a round of GAC. That is crazy.

I had the same issue. GAC round 1 Cere mirror and now Jabba vs Cere.

  • problem is happening with several players and they do nothing, I lost the last gac due to this freeze, Cere team jundaxGLRey

  • Same, Slkr vs Glat. It froze, I could click everything, buffs on/off, tm line on/off, just couldn't click the special, I could only do ulti and then it froze and buttons disappeared after his video. I lost a round just because of it.

Did you all play on PC client?

While playing on smartphone this did not happen. I throw in 3 more teams in and this bug didn't appear.

  • Same issue. I have a thread titled Turn Meter bug. GAC attacking with Cere Malicos team.

I lost this round by 10 banners due to this big. Also had the same thing happening in a TW match. Attacking w/ Veers imp troopers vs omi phasma.

I also got this big a few conquests back using slkr against the droid waves node.

  • I got this on PC with Cere team in GAC. Got it again today in a Veers vs Omi phasma TW match on Android client. It's in the architecture of the game. It's nothing to due with the Android OS app vs Windows or something. They just don't fix things when they are broken. The dev team continues to crank out carrot dangling content at breakneck speed and ignore architectural bugs for a year or more.

At this point I'm pretty sure that they don't even have a testing team. I think that we may have been duped into being a mix of free testers and actually paying CG for the privilege of testing and documenting the bugs.

For what it's worth to the folks running swgoh. This would be unacceptable for the large scale software application I work on. Contracts with 3rd party folks would be reevaluated.

When we do a large project to add new functionality, we due a review of every ticket that hasn't been worked to find out:

1.) What can or should wait until after. (Sometimes that is the best course if action. A data fix scenario could be a good example)

2.) What stuff is going to have to be fixed BEFORE development can start on the new project

3.) What stuff will be fixed as a side effect of the project or as an additional requirement of the projects implementation.

Point is, I think swgoh is a good game. The problem is it is not good software. Sorry if that seems harsh but it's fair. For the love of the Force, get your software together. Fix your game.
