Games won't load or are very, very slow loading

Since the last update the game takes around 10 minutes to load in the game and the game is very laggy, arena, normal battles are fine but the in game stores and pre battles to switch characters in arena is very slow. Also I can't access ships anymore because of the game lagging, when I swipe to the right or to the left it doesn't do it and it goes to ds battles or characters
