Graphical error after recent update - cannot get to loading screen or cantina

Summarize your bug After downloading and installing the latest update (16 Nov 2021) and restarting the game, my app displays the EA/CG title screen for a second before the whole screen goes black and no further loading occurs. I don't know if it's a graphical issue or not or if I should change resolution/refresh settings. This never occurred prior to today's update.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Unsure. I can provide computer specs if needed, though as mentioned, I never had this issue before today.
