Hyperdrive bundle bug, missing stars and unable to promote.

I have been having the same problem. As soon as I bought the hyperdrive bundle, some of the characters were glitched at 7 stars instead of 5 and it would restart my game and put them at 0 stars. They are still usable but it is a great disadvantage in the arena and other things. I called EA multiple times since Thursday and they simply put no fix available in the case.

$100 package is very expensive to have such a massive bug

@LizardSlayer-SWyea honestly, 100 dollars and 10 percent of the characters are so weak they are barely usable due to a bug. I reasonably expect a quick fix and a compensation of some sort for all the stages and events i could not do in addition to not being able to grind arena compared to others.
