I need support - error already for long time and no one solved, not even EA
Hello SWGoH devs,
I’m reaching out regarding a persistent issue I’ve had for several months in Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes (SWGoH). I’m unable to unlink my current EA account from the game.
When I go to Settings > Connect > Unlink Account (EA), and try to unlink, the game crashes with this error message:
“An error has occurred that requires restarting the game. Please check your internet connection as a poor connection could be the issue, then press ‘Restart’. If you have seen this prompt multiple times and have a strong internet connection, then please contact us. ErrorCode: 9.0.”
I've tried everything on my end to fix this:
Restarted the game and device multiple times
Tried different devices (same error on all of them)
Cleared the game cache
Ensured strong and stable internet connection
Tested on other SWGoH accounts (unlink works fine there)
This clearly shows the issue is specific to this particular game account, not my connection, device, or setup. It’s not reproducible on any other accounts I own. I’m convinced the problem is on your side and would appreciate your help in resolving it.
