Lost GAC battle, but game shows I'm still in it...

I forced closed a GAC Phoenix battle, and wanted to make a 2nd attack, but the game was showing that I was still in the battle and would not allow me to attack. It did allow me to attack another squad, but when I finished, there was no change to the Phoenix squad. I restarted the game, but it still showed I was battling phoenix. Could not attack. GAC ended shortly after.
