These skins seem to be crisscrossing and it's driving me crazy. I have tried uninstalling my game and making sure there are no game files leftover and reinstalling a few times and this issue has appeared every time. I do not have any custom skins or mods in my game. It is 100% Legacy installed from EA launcher. All 4 of these appear for me under Female adult light skin.
Is anyone else having this issue on a fresh install?
That's not a fresh install issue it look like a .skn file mismatch. Try copying over your old skin folder from The Sims Complete (or other ep within those skins) and should fix it.
I am not using the Complete, I am using Legacy. I tested installing Legacy from the EA launcher on a PC that never had The Sims installed previously and I had the exact same issue.
This might be a not commonly reported issue because I know a lot of people clear out Legacy's skin folder because they do not like the Command & Conquer Renegade skins showing up on townies in their game. The labcoat outfit is from one of those skin packs.
Update: I was able to carefully go through all adult outfits on the PC that never had The Sims installed on it. This is an untouched Skins folder from Legacy on the EA app. Here are more mixed up skin files.
I know the "solution" would be to remove the official Command & Conquer Renegade skins from the skins folder, but I genuinely like a lot of the outfits and heads that come with those packs. I don't think CAS should be in this state in an unaltered, just installed Legacy game.
If anyone else has Legacy not currently installed, can you test and see if it looks like this for you as well? Maybe I'm just cursed idk.
