You should be able to go into windowed mode with alt+enter, change the settings, then go back into fullscreen with alt+enter again.
that would be great if it actually stayed in the window size i selected. it just reverts to the original when i go back to fullscreen
That's odd, it should stay the way you set it. I'm sorry. I'm no help there.
