And if it won't work - until someone comes up with a fix for the problem-, I can still stick with recolouring full body outfits and underwear, swimwear... etc as they don't have the weird lighting issue and always turn out nicely and bug-free. :)
I wish I could help but if those instructions don't help then I have no idea. I stopped messing with Maxis sweaters a few months back and moved on to create layered outfits etc. with full meshes, I enjoy working with those more, I guess. Because I can turn something like a coat into a layered outfit and no one would know it used to be a coat. I really like trying my hand at this stuff after all these years. I did it for awhile back in the day, but was actually more interested in playing the games than I was in creating, and now, I do both. Hope you get it worked out! Let us know if you ever do, I would be interested to find out the
whole answer, too.
