I made my own downloads folder I followed the tutorial. I put in 1 cc hair and 1 cc dress just to test it out. I opened up my game and I had enable custom content on but nothing showed up at all? I’m confused maybe I either did something wrong or it’s the cc ? :(
You have to install a program, like sims2 clean pack installer, then choose documents sims2 downloads folder and it should install them automatically, in the past i think you'd have to have body-shop installed to do that but i think they got rid of it.
I have it on and it still won’t show up even after I restarted the game I get no pop up window showing my cc :/
I have the same problem. CAS CC doesn't show up, but CC in build/buy mode from added mods do show up.
Go to settings in your neighborhood and look click each icon where in the top right corner of one of them, should be an area where you enabled a custom content pop up window. Come out of the game and go back in, once it loads a pop up window should come up that allows you to enabled mods
