I've downloaded cc properly, placed it in the correct folder and enabled cc in game. I've restarted my game over 20 times and cc still isn't showing up in game. On Steam, I'm seeing other people say that they are having a similar issue. I hope this issue will be patches soon. If someone has any idea on what to do, please let me know. Thanks.
Hello, not sure if you're still having this problem, but download Sims2Pack Clean Installer (modthesims). It works with the Legacy collection, on systems running Windows 11 and older.
From here, it's worth noting that your mods do not go in your Steam directory.
Your CC destination is "C:\Users\%USERNAME%\Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2 Legacy\Downloads"
For lots, you want them to go to the "Teleport" folder in the main Sims2 Legacy folder

If you go into the Sims 2 Legacy folder, then EP9, then TSBin, you will see an application- Sims2EP9. Make a copy of that onto your desktop, then double click it to launch. Does that work?
