Cherieris MissIcewolf patejko uhleeshaah Please let me know whether OneDrive is active and syncing your Sims 2 user folders, and whether missing Sims still appear in other Sims' memories, or if they had been replaced with $Subject. Also check if there is an antivirus that could be flagging the game and preventing it from from creating new character files. If you have received an object error, please go to Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2 Legacy and package your Logs folder into a ZIP file, then attach it to your reply here.
For me my sim's kid just disappeared after returning from a community lot (child was not on the community lot). My OneDrive is active, it is syncing EA Games folder (can't seem to disable/exclude it). My missing child appears in my sim's memories as #Subject. All Sims and EA related apps are whitelisted in my AV. No error code or anything. Just unexplained disappearance of my legacy babies :( help!
