- Anmirla8 years agoSeasoned AceI actually watched the homework disappear this afternoon. :D
Tank had his two assignments in the middle of the floor (I always don't have them do their homework for the two days before I send them - grades drop if they go to school with two assignments on the lot) and after I had exited the lot to place him in a dorm (you need to enter that lot and save it as well to give credit for going to college and being able to contact them), I went back to finish playing the family for the season and saw it fade shortly after. You were probably wise to let someone else do the homework - I'm always a little bit wary of deleting anything that isn't buyable in the catalogue, or craftable, especially if it "belongs" to a certain sim. Some items have ownership tokens that may not go away properly if the item is deleted.
LOL woops, I am always deleting stuff like that.....unis leave their assignments everywhere? Just delete them! :D"Anmirla;c-16187333" wrote:

Proof! It does work! I should stop deleting these things now...I wonder if Bo's No sims loaded mod fries those left over tokens? It is always frying something. :D- greenean718 years agoNew Vanguard> @JULES1111 said:

I sometimes forget to set move objects back to off. I started to rebuild a room once and I was wondering why doors would end up in the middle of the room and why I could fit the small TV with wheels on top of a dresser. "greenbean71;c-16254027" wrote:

LOL! Been there myself! I was like, why does this picture just keep going through the wall!!?? :D Things being placed over each other..then I am like Oooohhhhh!! Derp!! and fix it."Anmirla;c-16184885" wrote:
You don't need to use capitals for the cheats. The reason they capitalized letters was so that you could read the words in the cheat. ;)
Before TS2UC some cheats were case sensitive or they wouldn't work. This might have been changed much later in the EPs or something.- Anmirla8 years agoSeasoned Ace

They must have been the less common cheats or maybe some of the more complex building cheats (I didn't really start building until the end of TS2's run, so later EPs may have changed my experience), because I've never capitalized any of my cheats. *shrug* "Anmirla;c-16255772" wrote:

I can't remember much, either, other than moveobjects used to have to be written moveObjects in the base game. And yep, the 45degree angle cheat was also case sensitive a hundred years ago. :)"Anmirla;c-16255772" wrote:

I was so used to having to write cheats a certain way, I never even realized you didn't have to anymore. :D I have gone in game recently and used the cheats with only lowercase, so it does work. I just never realized it before. It does make things much easier!- Rflong78 years agoLegendYou know, I found out I only have to type part of the cheat (not boolprop) then hit Tab and the game will fill in the rest. I used to have them shortened in the userStartup but I don't (never could remember what I used so I quit trying. I figure if it works in my game it'll work in others. :)
I type in pl and hit Tab then plumbobtoggle shows up and I hit enter. Not much typing.
mov - tab - moveobjects in brought up.
It has to be enough of the code to differenciate between modifyneighborhoodterrain and moveobjects. mod is all it takes to bring up the modifyneighborhood. I'm glad I messed up typing and it showed me an easier way. "Rflong7;c-16270470" wrote:

Ok this is awesome. I am gonna have to try this the next time I am in game! Thanks. :)
