Game Crashes (without warning or error message)

Anyone else finding that their game will crash without warning after the new update?  In the past whenever I've experienced the game crashing it has always come up with some variation of an error me...

I had this happen to me once and it scared the living lights out of me. I will say I have not had it happen again. But I just make sure to periodically save my game just to make sure I don't lose a ton of progress. Esp now that my sims family has like 4 kids total.. Which has been a nightmare to manage.
